The road leading rhough Omaha to the Rockies isn't winding but it is long. We drove through miles of flat plains and farm land with litte else around us. The sky was ominous looking at times and we had a tornado scare in Nebraska. The road eventually led us to the foot of the Rockies which is a spectacular sight to see after so many miles. Another example of the diversity and beauty of our country!
