All American City Nashville Tennessee

              Nashville Tennessee is a great All American city. Many of Americas Country Music Super Stars live in and around Nashville Tennessee. We were visiting for four nights attending the annual Country Music Festival and fan appreciation cocerts. The biggest stars come to town to play for their fans and to raise money for local charities. Besides the nightly concerts there are shows during the day and privates parties for fan club members all week. We partied into the early morning hours dancing and meeting all kinks of new friends.

           

                

Grandfather and Brazil

We met Mr Brazil heading down Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Mr Brazil from Arkansas  had traveled with his girlfriend up to Niagara Falls, then down through New York City to see the Statue of Liberty. At some point after that his companions butt was doing so well so she went home, leaving Mr Brazil to ride the Skyline and Blue Ridge by himself. We had seen Mr Brazil at various hotel locations along the way but had not chatted with him until we were in Boone North Carolina. It was right after each of us were caught in a cold rain storm that we sat down with Mr Brazil, and learned we had a common destination, which was riding the 'Tail of the Dragon" from North Carolina to Tennessee. Mr Brazil was a very interesting man. I hope he is doing well.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Living life to the fullest. That is our motto.. Leaving from Massachusetts touring down Skyline Drive and then the Blue Ridge Parkway made for a spectacular vacation.

Denny's Wigwam-Kanab, UT

While passing through Kanab, Utah on our way to Arizona, we stopped at this great little western restaurant. The area just inside the entrance way is a replica of an old west town complete with saloon, blacksmith shop, covered wagon and a pretty cool hut with a roof of assorted antlers. There is a huge chair in the center where you can sit and take a picture. It is a fun location to explore
