Key West - Southern Most House

Key West is such a beautiful and unique place.  Here we are at Fogarty's Restaurant-a great place to sit outside, watch the passing crowds on Duval street, and enjoy some drinks and good food. 

We also took a stroll to see the Southern Most House.  This huge Victorian was built in 1885 by a Cuban cigar maker.  According to the story, the house was built on the other side of the street but he wanted more shade on his porches so he had the house moved by mules to the current location.  Key West is full of unusual sites and friendly people!

Wine Party American Itailian style

These are pictures of a home wine party, which resulted in a good time and barrels of great wine.  The grapes were brought in from California and assorted to make a variety of different wines. As we processed the grapes we burned all the extra wine boxes.  Then we gathered around the fire and drank the previous years batch.

Old Tyme Memories

 A simpler time in life....with no high tech gadgets and people actually interacted face to face.. A lifestyle that we all wish we could get back to.
