We took this picture as we drove from Niagara Falls into Canada and then back into the United States. The middle of the waterway is actually the boundary line between the two countries. The second photo shows the satellite view of the boundary line. It was a beautiful day with blue skies and sunshine. It was a perfect view while we crossed the bridge so we couldn't resist trying to capture the moment. The color of the water and the vastness of Lake Huron makes you understand why it is one of the Great Lakes.

Southernmost Point Key West FL.
We had this picture taken while we were visiting Key West Florida. This is the most southern point in the continental United States. After walking along quaint narrow streets lined with cottages on the historic southern end of the island, you will find yourself here, 90 miles from Cuba. Visitors from all over the United States and the world gather here to chat amongst each other and to have their photographs taken with the southernmost point anchor. The majority gathering here have arrived by driving, flying or one of the many cruise ships that frequent the island. While we were in line waiting to have our picture taken we actually witnessed a young man proposing marriage, here at the southernmost point. The groom's words were " I brought you here to this most southern point so you could not run any further south from me. Will you marry me?" Everyone cheered and applauded...it was very touching.

Buffalo Chip Women - Sturgis South Dakota
Here is a picture of some of the friendly gals that you are likely to meet at the Buffalo Chip. We were there to see one of the nightly concerts. Kelly Pickler and Kid Rock were performing. We thought that was an odd combination of musicians but it was a fun filled, entertaining night We arrived early to take in all the events and attractions that go on before the concert including motorcycle stunt riders, burnouts on the deck, and lots of unusual sights to see. We sat up on one of the decks overlooking the main concourse area in front of the stage where we enjoyed the sunshine and some cold beer. As the night falls things really get hopping: scantily dressed women and men, drinks flowing, dancing, friendly people who are all there for one purpose - to have a great time

American Pride
This was our view as we pulled onto the grounds of the Buffalo Chip campground. Veterans were being honored by Senator and former P.O.W Vietnam veteran John McCain. The flags were standing tributes to the many who serve their country proud. I'm thankful for the nations that stand beside us, united we can persevere.
There is one flag in my heart that stands out among the rest, the Untied States of America.
I could not be more proud of my country.

The Italian Garden at the Biltmore Mansion Asheville NC
We took this photo when visiting the Biltmore Mansion. This is one of several gardens
adjacent to the main house. There are statues, coy ponds and a wide variety of plants and flowers.
A number of benches line the garden area so it is a peaceful spot to sit quietly and take in its beauty.
