Grove Park Inn Asheville NC

One of our favorites.

  After our long exhilarating ride down Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway we found this restaurant for a sunset dinner on their outside terrace. The food and drink was fabulous.  Man I wish I could live like that everyday. The pictures of us in the massive fireplaces were taken inside the Grand Ballroom. There are two one on each end.

Stately Estate the Biltmore Mansion

Built during the early 1900’s and nestled in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge mountains this mansion leaves you wondering what it must have been like.

One of the most relaxing days on our trip to the BlueRidge Parkway was driving on Skyline Drive and overlooking the beautiful Shenadoah Valley.  Simplicity at its best!
