Alma, New Brunswick ... pull the plug drain the ocean

Alma was the second stop on our trip to Nova Scotia.  It is a small village near the Bay of Fundy that boasts the highest tides in the world.  When we arrived, the tide had pulled out, leaving the local fishing vessels sitting on crates and hovering above the muddy sea floor.  The villagers couldn't have been nicer and we stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking the bay called the Cliffside Suites.  Very cozy and inviting....just like the rest of the little village!
