Sicily's cavern like a large eardrum

 The grotto or cavern known as L'Orecchio di Dionysio 'Ear of Dionysius' is so named because the shape is thought to resemble an ear and because the Ear of Dionysius is associated with a tyrant of Syracuse named Dionysius. The Ear of Dionysius was formed from the limestone quarry there, either deliberately or naturally. The acoustics are excellent. It is 23 m. high and 65 m. deep. There are various theories about how Dionysius of Syracuse may have used the ear. He may have put prisoners there so their plans could   be overheard or so their screams could be heard when they were tortured.

Erice, Sicily

Erice is a breathtaking Medieval town located on the west coast of Sicily. It is lined with cobblestone streets and is a step back in time.  We stayed at a beautiful, quaint hotel called Hotel Moderno. The hotel had lovely artwork in the hallways and restaurant. The picture above was in the lobby above the entryway to the hotel.  The other pictures we took as we climbed to the terrace on the roof of the hotel.  From there we could see the islands off the coast in the Mediterranean and the narrow streets below.  On a clear day, you can even see the tip of Africa.

The town is approximately 2600 feet above sea level and you can take a cable car up from the town of Trapani below.  Erice is surrounded by walls and visitors need to park outside of the walls while staying here.  It is truly unique and beautiful place to see.

Cloning in Sturgis South Dakota

This girl is was one of  the many that are hired to work in Sturgis to attractting customers to a vendors product. This particular girl did not have a hair on her body other than what was on her head. She was very friendly and willing to have her picture taken with or without you in the picture. Many men love to have their pictures taken with these Hot women as to convince their friends back home that they actually had a chance of being with them. She was being paid to be nice and friendly and that is as far as it went. Although it does help the mans ego to at least have his picture taken with them.  Personally she was my favorite girl that we ran into other than my beautiful wife.
