Harley-Davidson ------ Red, White & Blue

Owning an American made Harley-Davidson is patriotic in itself, however some take it to the next level. I took these photos as we were killing some time at Liberty Harley-Davidson in Rahway N.J. These bikes were fitting to see as we were on our way to celebrate Veterans Day in Washington D.C.

Korean War Memorial Washington D.C.

These pictures of the Korean Memorial were taken while attending the Rolling Thunder Rally. I found this memorial to be haunting. These soldiers who are on patrol have facial expressions as if they are scared, lost and determined. The last picture is at the end of the triangle and it says what is true.

V-Rod never had it so good

Ronnie gives it a thumbs up!

Remembering

I was fortunate enough to meet these great guys at a stop in Connecticut while on my way to the Rolling Thunder Rally. I believe they were from upstate New York and had all served in Vietnam,  some together. They were on their way to the rally which was an annual event for them. For me they helped me realize this is much more than about motorcycles gathering. It's about bringing awareness to America's veterans and acknowledging how much they gave. Lets hope our fat politicians who enjoy luxurious lifestyles  remember who fought and gave so much, so they can live like that.
These gentlemen gave a lot, lets make sure America gives back.
I can not express how honored I feel to have been in their company if only for a few minutes.

America thanks you.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall .... Memorial Day 2011

Men as big and brave as grizzly bears crying at the Wall.

American Soldiers

Just arrived back home from Washington D.C. and the Rolling Thunder Rally. These words struck home for me.
America, the defender of Freedom for all.
