This is a picture we took inside the lodge at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The statue of this mule is a tribute to the many Mules that have made the trek from the upper rim to the canyon floor carrying man and supplies.

The Big Texan-Amarillo, Texas
On our way through Amarillo, Texas, we couldn't resist stopping at the Big Texan, a unique restaurant along historic Route 66. It was featured on "Man vs Food" so bring your appetite-if you are up for 72 oz. steaks! I'ts free it you can finish it!
The food was great and the service was so friendly. Beware of the jalapeno peppers! My husband could not even get one bite down it was so hot! We learned a trick from the waitress...to help ease the heat, put some sugar on your tongue and keep it there for a bit. No amount of water will help!
